Chopta, known as the “Mini Switzerland of India,” is a serene hill station in Uttarakhand, surrounded by lush meadows and dense forests. It serves as the base for the trek to Tungnath, the highest Shiva temple in the world, located at an altitude of 3,680 meters.
The trek is a relatively short yet rewarding journey through rhododendron forests, offering panoramic views of Himalayan peaks like Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Kedarnath. Adventurers can extend the trek to Chandrashila Peak (4,000 meters) for breathtaking 360° vistas.

Arrive in Haridwar, where our representative will meet you and drive towards Chopta. On arrival, check into the camps. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, soaking in the serene environment. Dinner and overnight stay in Chopta.
After an early breakfast, start your trek to Tungnath, the highest Shiva temple in the world, standing at an altitude of 3,680 meters. After seeking blessings at the temple, continue the trek to Chandrashilla, located at 4,000 meters, offering panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks. Return to Chopta for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out from your accommodation and drive back to Haridwar. On arrival, drop off at your desired location in Haridwar, concluding your journey.
