Badrinath, located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, is one of the most revered pilgrimage destinations in India. Perched at an altitude of 3,300 meters, it is part of the Char Dham Yatra and the Chota Char Dham Yatra.
Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the Badrinath Temple is set against the stunning backdrop of the Neelkanth Peak and lies on the banks of the Alaknanda River. This sacred site is believed to be where Lord Vishnu meditated under a Badri tree for thousands of years, earning its divine significance.
Visitors are drawn not only by its spiritual aura but also by the breathtaking natural beauty of the surrounding mountains, hot springs like Tapt Kund, and serene landscapes. Accessible from May to November, Badrinath offers a blend of faith, mythology, and Himalayan charm, making it a must-visit for devotees and nature lovers alike.
Early morning take a dip in Tapt Kund and then perform darshan. Visit Mata Murty Temple, Bhim Pul, Vyas Gufa, and Mana Village. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
